Alyssa Wishall, OTD Occupational Therapist

Alyssa earned her Bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, majoring in Parks and Recreation Management. She attended the Medical University of South Carolina, where she earned her Doctorate of Occupational Therapy.

Alyssa has extensive experience working with children of varying diagnoses through her time in clinical fieldwork at UCP of Central Florida, as an overnight camp counselor for children with disabilities, and through her volunteer experiences in undergraduate and graduate school. Alyssa became passionate about becoming an OT at the age of 16 when she was a caregiver for a child with cerebral palsy and saw the immense impact an occupational therapist had.

In her free time, Alyssa enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and puppy, hiking, and boating.
