
Candace Fritz, MOT, OTR/L
Candace obtained a Bachelor of Science in Fine Arts Degree with a Photography concentration at James Madison University in 2002. She also studied abroad in Australia at the University of South Australia where she backpacked the whole east coast all the way up to Cape Tribulation. Candace received her Masters of Science Degree in Rehabilitative Science in Occupational Therapy at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC in 2006. During her graduate studies, she had the opportunity to receive special training in Upper extremity splinting, Aquatic therapy, Pediatric Constraint Induced therapy and Therapeutic horse back riding.
Candace has worked for Coastal Therapy Services for many years and is currently working on a part time basis. She specializes in neurodevelopment, infant motor development, feeding, visual deficits, and sensory processing.
Candace has received course work in Neuro Developmental Treatment for babies, Mouth and Sensory and Postural Functions, Treatment of children with sensory and motor delays, Motor Planning, Emotion to Motion, Cranial Sacral Therapy, and Rhythmic Movement Therapy. Candace is also certified to teach Water Safety Instruction and Yoga to children.
Candace lives with her husband, daughter, and son in Mount Pleasant. They enjoy spending their free time traveling to Caribbean Islands to relax and visit extended family in Puerto Rico. Candace also enjoys decorating projects, cooking, live music, and outdoor recreation. She provides services in our Mount Pleasant office.
