
Ciara Brown, OTR/L
Ciara Brown received her Bachelor of Science degree at Slippery Rock University, north of Pittsburgh, PA in Exercise Science with a minor in Adapted Physical Activity and Psychology, and Masters of Occupational Therapy at University of Pittsburgh. Ciara has clinical experience in Early Intervention, ages birth to three, outpatient clinic, camps for kids with disabilities and chronic illness, habilitation services for kids with Autism, and developing a special needs playgroup.
She has experience with Beckman oral motor, Assessment and Treatment using the Sequential Oral Sensory (S.O.S) Approach to feeding & advance coursework, feeding therapy, Infant Mental Health, family training and coaching techniques, pediatric yoga, and sensory processing. She also has experience with Handwriting without Tears, and visual rehabilitation for pediatrics.
Ciara has a passion for early intervention, oral motor, and feeding therapy. In her spare time, Ciara enjoys traveling, spending time with her dog & boyfriend, & friends and family, and enjoying outdoor activities.
