Gwyn was born and raised in Montgomery, NY. She then went on to attend Utica college where she was a two sport athlete competing in swimming and water polo. She received her Bachelor of Science in Health studies in 2015. Then she went on to earn her Master of Science in Occupational therapy in 2016. After graduation Gwyn moved to Charleston to work in pediatrics. Throughout school Gwyn was a swim coach for a local youth team working with children of all ages. Gwyn’s passion is aquatic therapy. She has completed extensive continuing education in this area which has enabled her to help children of all ages reach their goals in the water and carry them over onto land. In her spare time Gwyn enjoys staying active, reading, snacking, and spending time with friends, family and her dog Avi.
