
Joanna Shockey, PT, DPT
Joanna graduated in 2016 with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from Lebanon Valley College where she also completed her Bachelor Degree in Health Science. Joanna has always been passionate about working with children, and has experience working in multiple settings including pediatric outpatient clinic, developmental daycare, early intervention services, and school-based PT. Joanna has attended courses in treatment of torticollis, selection and use of adaptive equipment, kinesiotaping, treatment of toe-walking, and Total Motion Release (TMR-Tots).
Joanna particularly enjoys working with babies with torticollis and plagiocephaly, functional use of adaptive equipment, pediatric bracing and orthotics, infant developmental milestones, gait training, and balance and coordination training. She is passionate about PT sessions focusing on functional skills to allow for optimal participation in gross motor related activities with peers.
In her free time, Joanna enjoys spending time with her family and friends, doing trivia, going to the beach, or relaxing with a favorite TV show.
