Speech Therapist

Laura Crouse MS, CCC SLP, A/AOGPE

Laura is a speech pathologist who earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Speech Pathology from George Washington University in 2016. After graduating, she returned to her home state to complete her MS degree at the University of Rhode Island. Laura moved to Charleston in 2018 and began her career as a Spanish bilingual therapist in the school system and later transitioned into private practice at Coastal Therapy.

Laura has experience treating articulation/phonological disorders, childhood apraxia of speech, stuttering, voice disorders, expressive/receptive/pragmatic language disorders, genetic disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorders, intellectual disabilities, and Down syndrome and has obtained certification in Orton Gillingham multisensory reading therapy to treat children with dyslexia.

In her free time, Laura enjoys traveling, paddle boarding, and yoga.
