Parker Aleksa
PT, DPT Physical Therapist
Parker is originally from Richmond, Virginia, and earned her Bachelor of Health Sciences from James Madison University. She then relocated to Marion, Virginia, where she completed her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at Emory & Henry University. During graduate school, Parker completed clinical rotations across a variety of settings in Virginia, Florida, and Tennessee, gaining experience working with patients of all ages and abilities. Through these experiences, she discovered a special passion for working with children, which ultimately led her to pursue a career in pediatric physical therapy.
Excited for a new adventure, Parker and her sister moved to Charleston, South Carolina. She is passionate about providing individualized, family-centered care through a play-based therapy approach. Parker particularly enjoys working with infants with torticollis and plagiocephaly, infant developmental milestone, gait training, balance, and coordination skills.
Outside of the clinic, Parker enjoys exploring new restaurants, cuddling with her dog, playing pickleball, reading on the beach, and catching up on her favorite TV shows.
